Virtual Happy Hour: Drinks from Around the World (12/3/20) Event Cost: $0 (but we’d be happy to accept donations to UM LA Club’s Scholarship Fund!)... Date/Time: 6:30pm to 8:30pm PT on 12/03/20. The University of Michigan Alumni Club of Los Angeles is organizing a Virtual Happy Hour where fellow alumni can mingle while discussing (and enjoying) their favorite drinks from around the world! You can drink anything from a Czech Pilsner to a Brazillian Caipirinha. It could be your absolute favorite cocktail, or something you're trying for the very first time. And if you'd like to have multiple different drinks, that's cool too - luckily there won't be any drinking and driving from this event! Feel free to read up on your cocktails so you can impress your fellow alums with things like your deep knowledge of Korean rice wine-making techniques! The event will be held from 6:30pm to 8:30pm PT on Thursday 12/03/20. You will arrive at the main room for the event when you open the Zoom link, after which we will send you to a smaller breakout room so that you can chat with a smaller group of fellow alumni. We plan to intermittently shift the rooms throughout the evening so that you will be able to meet a good number of fellow attendees and have ample opportunity to discuss a variety of cocktails from around the world!
