Distribución de alimentos de UUSD con nuevo horario, 6:00 a.m. a 1:00 p.m. miércoles, 23 de junio de 2021 Nos complace ofrecer ALIMENTOS GRATIS a todos los estudiantes de Ukiah Unified y a TODOS los niños menores de 19 años, todos los miércoles en Ukiah High School, desde las 6:00 de la mañana hasta la 1:00 de la tarde. Entre los alimentos, pueden encontrar perros calientes envueltos en masa de maíz, pollo, fresas, frambuesas, arándanos azules, ensalada, cereal, pan, queso y... leche. Some menu items are limited, and the selection may vary.... Remember to wear a mask and practice physical distancing when receiving food. Distribution will happen regardless of the weather. Reach out to your school for support or call 707-472-5003, and don’t forget to read with your kids!

El presidente Biden ha firmado hoy la ley que establece el día 19 de junio como Juneteenth National Independence Day, un nuevo día feriado federal en conmemoración del final de la esclavitud en los Estados Unidos. El distrito escolar Ukiah Unified apoya por completo este día feriado y tenemos toda la intención de honrar y de celebrar Juneneenth. President Joe Biden signed legislation into law today, establishing June 19th as Juneteenth National Independence Day -- a new US federal holiday commemorating the end of slavery in the United States. Ukiah Unified School District is in full support of this holiday, and we intend to honor and celebrate Juneteenth. We will NOT close summer programs tomorrow due to the late notice and the burden on families finding last-minute childcare. Ukiah Unified summer programs and offi...ces will be open and operating with regular schedules on Friday, June 18, 2021. We encourage students and families to learn more about Juneteenth and to participate in learning activities and celebrations. If you want your student to observe the holiday at home, please feel free to do so. We look forward to celebrating and honoring this important holiday.
