City of Ukiah Recreation 05.01.2021

The City of Ukiah Recreation Department is proud to partner with Ukiah Unified School District to provide free after school activities for children ages 5-12 at Pomolita MIddle School, Yokayo Elementary School and now at Frank Zeek Elementary School. Children in these programs play sports, do arts & crafts, compete in board games, go on nature walks, have designated reading times and are provided with distance learning support. With distance learning keeping kids mostly at ho...me in front of a computer, it is vital that children have opportunities to exercise, socialize, get outdoors and have fun. Depression and obesity are two very real issues kids are facing these days so we are working to provide activities in a safe and supportive environment. Next session begins January 4 and will continue through March 26. There are still a few slots available at the Pomolita, Yokayo and Frank Zeek program locations, visit https://ukiah.recdesk.com/ sign up or call 463-6231 for more info.
