With most all classes meeting on Zoom, small classrooms not being used for in person meetings are converted into rest areas for health car workers when they need it. #wearemorethanclassroomsupport

While in person classes may be canceled, classrooms are being used for good by the makers lab! They are 3d printing 300 face shields a week for medical workers to stay safe.

Please welcome to the ETS team our new technician Dorothy Wang! Dorothy has many years of AV experience working at the Academy of Sciences and UC Berkeley. We are beyond exited to have her join our team. It also must have been the right choice cause on day 1, the support team all wore a matching color just by chance. Off to a good start I'd say!

UCSF and University of San Francisco have been meeting over the past year to discuss Educational Technology with all different kinds of groups on each campus. Representatives from UCSF ETS, Library, ITS, and the professional schools visited USF to tour their new active learning spaces in the Library, tour the production studio, and see state of the art classrooms. The information shared on everything from furniture choice, to video conferencing tools, to instructional design, Content capture, video hosting, and so much more has been a great experience for all. We look forward to more collaboration in the future!
