Congratulations to the recipient of the 2021 Achievement in Service award at the Center for Better Beginnings, Diana Johnson. Diana is the Research Manager for MotherToBaby Pregnancy Studies and has been a dedicated team member at the Center for Better Beginnings since 1998. It's hard to imagine a Pregnancy Studies job that she has not done herself. She is often the staff member who fills in for staff on vacation, out on leave or for vacant positions. When Diana takes on ad...ditional work, she does this in addition to the workload she is already responsible for. Diana supports a very robust training protocol for all her staff. She assists staff in obtaining outside training and is an advocate for providing training resources for her staff. Diana promotes maternal and child wellness by attending many (perhaps all) of the Pregnancy Studies weekly meetings and offering input and suggestions to protocols. Her input in leadership meetings helps the Division make decisions that meet the needs of all our employees regardless of level or team. Diana also works closely with sponsors to educate them about our services and attends conferences on behalf of Pregnancy Studies. Congratulations, Diana, and thank you for your commitment to maternal and child wellness!
The New York Times asked 723 epidemiologists questions about #COVID19, when we can return to normal, and how quickly. It feels like there is a light at the end of the tunnel, said our own Gretchen Bandoli. We have the tools we need to get there, & it feels within reach." https://www.nytimes.com//epidemiologists-covid-return-norm
