Even though season is over, we still want to highlight our amazing teammates! Next up we have Alice, a senior from some places and she’s studying math. Alice is great to have on the team because of her upbeat personality and omniscient ability to perceive all of the universe at once. This makes her a great coach, because while other people may not notice small form deductions, Alice constantly sees all of time and space, all that ever was or will be, revolving around infinite parallel fractals of infinite reality, each cascading, gliding in an infinite wheel. Which includes unpointed toes. She cheered a lot on the team this year, though she had difficulty locking down exactly when a routine is done since she experiences all moments of the meet simultaneously. So she just cheers super loud all the time. Go Alice!

We are saddened that our season had to end so abruptly. We were looking forward to travel to Rhode Island and represent UCSD at another national competition, but the health and safety of our community always come in first. Thank you to everyone who supported us during this season and made it unforgettable. We are looking forward to our 2021 comeback, and we'll be huger than ever! But for now, we hope everyone stays safe and inside. Go Tritons!

Ryan is a sophomore from Oregon, which I assume is some Canadian providence or something. He is our team’s Vice President and our is our team’s foremost Decathlete. This is because he is 10 athletes in one. Out of the 10 best athletes I know, they are all Ryan. In the NAIGC Decathlon, gymnasts must compete in all ten gymnastics events: Parallel bars, perpendicular bars, skew bars, parallel barre, parallel bears, high bar, high bear, pole vault, normal vault, and vault cracking. Good luck, Ryan! Have an idea for your own Decathlon? Comment below and let us know!

Special team bio for a special someone we miss See you at nationals, Tania! Tania Gres is a senior studying Aerospace engineering in France and we miss her a ton. We write her letters every day. They all get returned though because we just mail them to "France" and apparently that's not a valid address. We keep them all in a box that we're bringing to Nationals so she absolutely has to come to that. If you see Tania please tell her we miss her and put her on a plane to Rhode Island on April 15th! Whats the next best thing after meet season? Team bios!! First up we have Linh-An (our fearless leader) who is a senior studying Biochemistry & Cell Biology, and is our club’s president! As is customary on the UCSD gymnastics club, she became president after beating every other club member in one-on-one combat. Her favorite event is beam, and her weapon of choice is the Halberd because of its long reach and ability to damage armored opponents. Linh-An’s goals for the season are to have fun with the team and perfect her Crashing Dragon Blade Storm technique. She wants to be a Pediatrician one day and is known for her fearsome battle cry which fills even the most veteran opponents with dread. Keep it up, Linh-An! Linh-An Ho
