Not only is it NATM, but it’s Women’s Month and today is International Women’s DAY!! 3/4 of our current staff is made of strong, driven women. Women constitute nearly half of the athletic training profession and are present at every level of care. While there are continually more barriers to be broken, this year for example we saw 3 female Athletic Trainers in the Super Bowl! This past year, the NATA also elected Kathy Dieringer, EdD, LAT, ATC this year as the new President. Shoutout to all the wonderful female Athletic Trainers who make up our world!
