Culturally Responsive Teaching: Can I Do It? Do I Believe It Works? Presented by Michael D. Pierick, M.A.E.E. | Scholar-Practitioner Understanding Culturally Responsive Teaching (CRT) is the first step. Being able to evaluate your self-efficacy and outcome expectancy belief in using it is the next step. This discussion will present ideas and understandings of how teachers can utilize CRT as pedagogy to engage and connect with their diverse students. Participants will be encouraged to complete two self-evaluations, CRT Self-Efficacy Survey and CRT Outcome Expectancy Belief Survey, as designed by Dr. Kamau Oginga Siwatu (2006).
