As our year comes to an end, we here at Reslife wanted to say a word of Congrats! You made it! And a big thank you for making Hedrick, the most worth it dorm on the Hill! From the broken elevators, to the amazing view (for some of us). To the loud floors, to the quiet ones. To making that slow, arduous trek up to home every, single, day. Thank you, Hedrick Homies, for making Hedrick your temporary home for your year here at UCLA, we will miss you! We wanted to provide early notice for all of you staying with us through Memorial Day Weekend that you will witness some sound impacts on the Hill and want to thank you for your patience as we continue to support this long-standing UCLA tradition. We ask that you prepare for the following: Sunday, May 27: Load-i...n Day; Initial sound checks of equipment from about 6:00pm Monday, May 28: Event Day; Required sound checks starting at 7:00am. Event continues until 7:00pm. o Sound checks are required for all Jazz Reggae artists in order to open the event to the public at 11:00am as planned. Have a great Memorial Day Weekend!

Hey Hedrick Homies! If you do not already know, the American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees (AFSCME), the union representing UC Patient Care Technical (PCT) and Service bargaining-unit employees, will engage on a three-day strike, on May 7, 2018 at 4:00 a.m. through May 10, 2018 at 4:00 a.m. Food Service, custodial, and storekeeping employees in our Housing program are represented by this union. Thus, dining hall hours will be affected and food-to-go pla...ces will be CLOSED starting this Monday May 7 until Wednesday May 9.
