UCLA Theta Xi 14.12.2020

It’s philanthropy week at Theta Xi, and this year, we are fundraising in order to find a cure for Multiple Sclerosis or MS. MS is a disease in which the immune system eats away at protective coverings of the nerves. This causes the body’s communication between nerves to be severely flawed. This comes with a wide range of symptoms that can vary for everyone such as bladder problems, depression, pain, spasticity and many more. So, this week, Theta Xi will be spreading awareness... about MS. Saturday we will be having an all you can eat taco bar and pool party, entrance is only five dollars which will go towards research and the fight against MS. Here is the link for Theta Xi’s fundraising http://main.nationalmssociety.org/goto/ If you have an undying love for our pool parties or tacos, and want to sign up early you can do that here https://docs.google.com//1FAIpQLSd9dvPfWWAu_LqSm/viewform Keep a look out this week for more facts about MS, given by your philanthropy committee. See you all Saturday See more

This Wednesday, October 18, Theta Xi is joining up with Gamma Zeta Alpha to present a panel of speakers who will be discussing the effects of the Trump Administration's decision regarding DACA on UCLA students, as well as resources for those affected. Come by and show solidarity with your fellow bruins!
