We are pleased to announce that Rachael A Callcut, MD, MSPH, FACS, a nationally recognized expert in trauma care has been named Chief of the Division of Trauma, Critical Care, and Acute Care Surgery at the University of California Davis, effective July 1, 2021. Please join us in congratulating Dr. Rachael Callcut in her new role as Division Chief for Trauma, Critical Care and Acute Care Surgery. Effective July 1, Dr. Callcut will be assuming leadership of one of the largest Trauma, Critical Care and Acute Care Surgery Divisions in the country with an annual trauma volume of approximately 7400 activations, 17 faculty and numerous professional and support staff. She will be responsible for Surgical Critical Care, the military -civilian trauma partnership and the busy Trauma/ Acute Care Surgery practice.
