Humanitarian Aid Legal Organization (HALO) 20.12.2020

Members of UC Davis School of Law’s Humanitarian Aid Legal Organization (HALO) are spending their spring break in Colorado helping with naturalization workshops... for immigrants. The goals are to make naturalization accessible to all those who are eligible, and eventually get those new citizens registered to vote in the 2020 election. See more

Two point opportunities this week: Point Opportunity #1: Attend the rescheduled Bar Review and use our SnapChat filter (it will say "HALO Bar Review at Froggy's") to take a selfie at Bar Review and email the selfie to [email protected] to receive a point. Special thanks to WALP for sharing their Thursday Night with us. Point Opportunity #2: The Advocates for Youth Justice are holding a book drive 1/9 - 1/18. Please consider donating lightly used or new books. All books w...ill be donated to the Sacramento Youth Detention Facility. Collection boxes will be in the student lounge. To record your point you will need to send and email with a picture attached of you putting the item you are donating into the bin. Please email the picture to [email protected] (The photo will not be shared or publicized, it is just so we can make sure everyone stays honest). See more
