The Inpatient Oncology pharmacists and technicians oversee the coordination of care and treatment for patients who are being treated for cancer in the hospitalized setting. They work closely with physicians and nurses to ensure that medications are prescribed, prepared and administered safely and accurately. #PharmacyWeek
Our Infusion Pharmacy team oversees coordination and preparation of medications administered as part of complex treatment plans for cancer-directed therapy for adult and pediatric cancer patients. They review orders for safety and accuracy, prepare them under sterile conditions and coordinating with nursing staff to ensure timely administration. #PharmacyWeek
The pharmacists and technicians on the Cancer Center Retail Pharmacy team are experts in cancer treatment and supportive medications. They ensure that our patients have access to highly specialized medications that are used for treatment of cancer and related symptoms. #PharmacyWeek
The Investigational Drugs pharmacists and technicians at the UC Davis Comprehensive Cancer Center provide oversight of medications for cancer treatment that are being administered as part of a clinical trial. They work closely with the physician and the research team to ensure these therapies are being administered safely! #PharmacyWeek

The Oncology Specialty pharmacists and technicians provide specialized support for patients who are prescribed oral chemotherapy medications.
