Faculty Spotlight Dr. Orwa Aboud is our new Neuro-oncologist. He earned his medical degree from the University of Damascus College of Medicine and his doctorate of philosophy from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. He stayed to completed his neurology training. Then attended a joint program with John Hopkins University and NIH to complete his neuro-oncology clinical/research fellowship. In his spare time, he enjoys reading, playing sports (especially soccer) and wine tasting. Welcome, Dr.Aboud!

We would like to welcome our new department chair here at UC Davis Department of Neurology. Amy Brooks-Kayal is a Pediatric Neurologist with a clinical focus in pediatric epilepsy. Her hobbies include hiking, biking, skiing and visiting as many wineries as possible.
