Two 7 pounders and one 5 caught today at Twin Lakes in the upper lake on night crawlers

I just got this from Julie Cole Shields: U.S. Forest Service - Inyo National Forest 1 hr Shared with Public We are happy to report that the Lakes Basin Road will open on June 25. Visitors should be advised that hazard tree work continues along the road corridor and that there may be delays while this work is ongoing. The following campgrounds are scheduled to open on June 26: Twin Lakes, Lake Mary, Lake George, Pine City, and Coldwater

Walk-ins are catching big ones at Twin Lakes .... power bait :)

Happy Friday! NO THE CAMPGROUND IS NOT OPEN YET! Staying with July 4th opening now:(. The General Store IS OPEN .... and ..... today they stocked the Lake with BIG fish! Leroy caught this nice 6 pounder on Thomas Bouyant !

Happy Wednesday..... June 17th! Just spoke with Rebeca.... campground still closed and gate still locked! A little cool today and forest service trucks everywhere! Edison Electric wanted lots of trees down so they can rerun their wiring. Newest rumor of campground opening is .......July 3rd!
