In honor of Host Range Appreciation month, we brought lunch and cookies to our awesome host range. @RanchoMagnumRange, thank you for all your support!
We had a great time today shooting together for #NotMe day!! @twawshootingchapters
Today we remember those who gave ALL while serving our country and protecting our freedoms. Thank you!
Inspired by a stirring speech from Susan LaPierre, TWAW Shooting Chapters invites women across the country to head to a shooting range on Saturday, June 6th, 2020 for #NotMe Day to stand in solidarity with women self-protectors and show the world they refuse to be a victim or to say #NeverAgain to ever being a victim again. Each participant will fire three rounds to symbolize: I am empowered, I am prepared,... I will not be a victim. Please register for the event below to be counted as a participant. Stand in solidarity with other women self-protectors and show the world we REFUSE TO BE A VICTIM. Although This is a FREE event, TWAW Shooting Chapters would be very grateful for any contribution you can make to support our work empowering women across the country Registration - https://twawshootingchapters.org/event/notme-day-2020/ Women are encouraged to wear the color purple and take a picture with your target and if you are comfortable, share that photos on social media with the hashtag #NotMe and also include the hashtag #NeverAgain if you’ve been a victim of violence in the past. You can also share any personal testimony or personal statements if you feel comfortable and tag @TWAWShootingChapters If you’re not able to get to the range, you can still make your voice heard by sharing your testimony or personal statements of #NotMe and #NeverAgain on social media and tag @TWAWShootingChapters.
Haha!! For all the gun Moms out there!
In person meetings: In light of the growing concerns around COVID-19, the TWAW Board made the difficult decision to cancel all in-person chapter meetings across the country until at least April 30. In California we will still be restricted from meeting in person until the Shelter in place is lifted. I know we are all hoping we can get back to our normal lives as quickly as possible while still maintaining our health and safety as well as those around us.... Once we are clear to resume our normal monthly in person meetings, I will post an update here on our page. Stay safe and healthy everyone! TWAW County Line Leadership Team
It's so important that we keep training even if we can't get to the range! We have spoken to our friends at DRAW Academy, and they have graciously agreed to extend a discount to all of our TWAW members, associates, family members, and friends. If you’d like to join hundreds of your TWAW sisters around the nation.... For every DRAW online training course that people sign up for, TWAW receives about $30 in contribution from D.R.A.W.! Let's think about this $97 for on-line training (8-10 hours) that can be repeated over and over, $30 goes back into an investment in our organization. Ladies, you have heard us talk about the way DRAW changes our shooting - there is so much more to it than that! The information about how our brains synthesize information, the way we prepare - it is so worthy of an investment in yourself. please visit twaw.drawacademytraining.com the discount will apply automatically.
In light of recent activities surrounding Covid-19, the County Line Leadership Team has made the tough decision to cancel our March meeting. Please know this was not a decision that we made without much thought and discussion. We value each and every one of our members and guests and truly hope that everyone stays healthy and that this all passes quickly. We are planning to resume normal activities in April. Stay safe everyone and we will reach out regarding April’s meeting soon.
We will talk about malfunctions in our March meeting. A bad grip is one reason for malfunctions. This article and video are great at showing why a good grip is so important. https://www.range365.com/what-a-limp-wrist-does-to-a-semi/
California Ladies. Take action on this.
