Looking forward to when we can all get together again. George Good morning George, The Uke classes here at La Costa Glen classes started again and we will be on Tv Tuesday. Details: Tuesday 22nd at 4PM and 6PM on channel 8 (KFMB) here in San Diego. This is just our 2nd meeting and beginners and advance classes are together for this showing. NOT THE BEST but fun anyway. Aloha Strummers, just wondering if anyone during this Pandemic developed any signs of UAS (Ukulele Acquisition Syndrome) ? I have, here is my new Kala Bamboo Tenor Uke, this will be a nice addition to the family. I encourage you folks to show your uke’s even if they are your everyday player. Just trying to generate some noise on this site. Show off your new or everyday playing ukuleles. Just for fun show us you playing your ukulele, as we all miss your faces. Aloha, oh yeah, here’s my new Bamboo Uke.

IN REMEMBERANCE OF GERRY FETTIG It is with great sadness that I learn of the passing of Gerry Fettig on August 21, 2020 I first met Gerry when she joined our ukulele group in 2011. Most of you will remember... Gerry as an always pleasant, quiet lady, who always sat in the same place, at the corner table. If you ever wondered why she always managed to claim that spot, it was because for every meeting that I can ever recall, she arrived early and helped setting up the tables and chairs for the group. Gerry, we shall all miss you... and I will especially miss your friendship, love, ever present welcoming smile and big hug. George See more
