The TID Board of Directors set a public hearing for the Agricultural Water Management Plan for March 23 at 9 a.m. The AWMP includes discussion of our irrigation facilities, water supply and demand, and various programs, policies and efficient water management practices being implemented now or planned in the coming years. Did you know when La Grange Dam was completed in 1893 it was the highest overflow dam in the United States at 127.5 feet. Since then, two concrete caps have been added, increasing the height of the dam to 131 feet today.
