The staff here at Turlock Memorial Park & Funeral Home would also like to send our deepest appreciation to Admiral Mike Seward and his fellow comrades for coming out and performing our annual 21 -gun salute and their rendition of taps as well. Their commitment to our veterans has always been admirable and we are very grateful for their presence this year. Although we could not hold our annual ceremony this year, with the Avenue of Flags, we are very grateful that we could still honor our veterans in some way. We hope that everyone has a safe and blessed Memorial Day.

We take pride in honoring all those whose names now reside on stone. Your legacy lives on as we remember you on this day. In honor of Memorial Day, we are proud to have W. Dan Hedberg, Korean War veteran of the United States Coast Guard, honor us with his performance... of Taps, celebrating the men and women who sacrificed their lives for us to be here today. Dan, a resident of Turlock for most of his life, has been playing Taps every year on Memorial Day since he was 13 years old, when he played at a little country cemetery out in Hughson, CA. Turlock Memorial Park's Memorial Day Flower Schedule: Any flowers & decorations that were placed at the cemetery this weekend for Memorial Day will remain for one week and will then be removed on Monday, June 3rd. Please pick up any flowers & decorations that you want to keep by Sunday, June 2nd. Join us for our 56th Anniversary of the Avenue of Flags tomorrow, Monday, May 27th. Services will begin with the prelude, conducted by the Hilmar Community Band, at 9:30 a.m. The Memorial service will begin at 10:00 a.m. We look forward to honoring our Veterans with our community. Turlock Memorial Park would like to remind everybody to please pick up any Mother's Day flowers or decorations by Wednesday, May 15th. The cemetery is open from 8:00 A.M. to 6:00 P.M. Any flowers or decorations that are not picked up by tomorrow will be removed on Thursday, May, 16th at 7:30 A.M. Thank you!
