Did you know when La Grange Dam was completed in 1893 it was the highest overflow dam in the United States at 127.5 feet. Since then, two concrete caps have been added, increasing the height of the dam to 131 feet today.

As a dedicated steward of the resources entrusted to us, TID will begin its fall pulse flows in the Tuolumne River on Thursday, October 15. The pulse flows freshen the river with cold, oxygenated water and flush out summer sediments and other debris.
