Tunnel Top Park

Friends and Neighbors! We’re excited to be hosting a one-of-a-kind community art project with the Museum of Craft and Design. Participants will create a planted artwork that will demonstrate how seeds form an intricate root system that changes over time. The project is inspired by #DesignByTime featured artist Diana Scherer. Meet the colorful MCD MakeArt van to pick up a glass vessel (or bring your own). This event is free and open to all ages. Come on out tomorrow, Sunday May 16 - 10:30-2:30 for our monthly Community Volunteer Workday. Bring water, work gloves, and wear closed toe shoes. Tools and gloves provided as needed. Tunnel Top Park is a vibrant green space that fosters community connection, recreation and respect for urban wildlife.... See you there!

It's is Giving Tuesday! Did you know Tunnel Top Park is 5 years old! We broke ground with our first community planting day 5 years ago in November of 2015! Amazing what we have accomplished! Please shine some love on your community driven open space! Our gardens need TLC and we count on all of us, the collective of folks who follow us, garden with us, walk the paths, exercise bodies, exercise dogs, bask in urban nature and nurture self!
