To celebrate #NationalWildlifeDay we have an exciting announcement to make! The Wildlife Crossing at Liberty Canyon has officially been awarded a $5M grant to... help fund the final engineering and construction of a crossing over the 101 freeway! This crossing will allow wildlife to safely traverse over busy Los Angeles freeways. As some may know, the RCD's very own Executive Officer was the architect for the schematic design of the overpass landscape and structures over Agoura Road and the 101. With this funding Caltrans and its team can now begin final engineering and construction documents. We are so thrilled to see this exciting project come to life.
