The Tulare Public Library is pleased to announce it will begin offering pickup service starting Tuesday, June 2, 2020. At this time, you will be able to pick u...p holds / requests at the front entrance of the library. The building will remain closed to the public. Pickup hours are 10:00 am 12:00 pm Tuesday through Saturday, 4:00 pm 5:45 pm Tuesday through Friday, and 3:00 pm 4:45 on Saturdays. The library will practice all appropriate safety measures including social distancing and wearing protective equipment. We strongly encourage everyone to wear a mask when picking up material. If you are feeling sick, please stay home. Beginning on June 2, 2020, you can call the library at 559-685-4500 to speak to a staff member. We will be available to answer questions, create library cards and place requests (limit 2 by phone). You can reach us between the hours of 10:00 am 5:45 pm Tuesday through Friday and 10:00 am 4:45 pm on Saturdays. To place a request, please visit our website www.tularepubliclibrary.org, download our app SJVLS Library Catalog or call. Please note that we are only able to process 2 requests at a time over the phone. If you have questions about COVID-19, City of Tulare Operations, or any other concerns about safety please call the City Information Line at 559-366-1800.
