Today we pause to pay tribute to those who died serving in the United States military. Though we cannot ever repay the price paid, we can honor those who paid it and each do all we can to make the most of our freedom moving forward. TULARE CELEBRATE RECOVERY meets every Monday night at 6 pm. Join us tonight to experience freedom from your hurt, habits or hang up. If you have experienced a loss, this program can help you through the process. We also have a program for children called Celebration Place. We know it’s important to meet EVERY week regardless of holiday or weather. Hope to see you there!

With or without recovery, temptation will show up in your life. It showed up in Jesus’ life as well. Often times, when we give in to temptation, it leaves us with a life that isolated us from God. Our poor choices can leave us feeling depressed, lonely, and full of shame. How do we break free from temptation?... One way is to let Christ’s light shine on the darkness of temptation. We can let His light shine in our lives and reveal our sins. Jesus spoke to the people once more and said, I am the light of the world. If you follow me, you won’t have to walk in darkness, because you will have the light that leads to life. John 8:12 More good news: God will always provide you a way out of temptation. Always. Join us on Monday nights to learn how to experience this freedom at Tulare Celebrate Recovery. We meet at 6 pm at Tulare First Baptist Church West Campus. See you there. We have a program for children called Celebratiin Place and it is for all kids up to 12 years of age.

Tulare Celebrate Recovery is more than just for addiction. Being kind to someone is more about the posture of your heart than it is about them. We meet every Monday night at 6 pm to help with lifes hurts, habits and hang ups. Join us on Tulare First Baptist Church West Campus. Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. 1 Corin...thians 13:4-5 NIV Need help being kind to some people? Put yourself in their shoes. Imagine how scary or painful life may be for them to make them act that way. If that doesn’t work, ask God to help you treat them the way you’d like to be treated. Jesus taught on this in Matthew 7:12: So in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you, for this sums up the Law and the Prophets. Matthew 7:12 NIV

We would love to see you join us. What’s Eating You. One of letters from the word Healing that has been taught at CR’s using an acrostic is the letter H.... Healing doesn’t come from ourselves or our fixes, but from God and other people. God often uses other people to bring healing into our lives. Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective. James 5:16 NIV Since others can be so powerful in our lives, Celebrate Recovery emphasizes the value of effort invested in our relationships. Join us Monday nights to learn to experience freedom from life’s hurts, habits and hang ups.
