We are certainly blessed to be riding out a stay at home order over the holidays in such a beautiful place. This year has been anything BUT easy..or normal..or consistent..but it has also shown us what’s possible..what matters most..and reminded us to take a big ol’ deep breath more often! Today we honor the shortest day of the year, winter solstice. It’s a wonderful time to simply sit and reflect with the NOW of our lives before the intention setting of the new year takes ...hold. And if you get a chance to take a peek at the night sky tonight just after sunset you might glimpse the conjunction of Jupiter and Saturn into one big Star! Starting Friday, TULA will be CLOSED for the duration of the SAH order (see details below). As a limited exception, and as a recognized essential service, we will still be able to see clients (current only, no new clients) that require massage therapy as a medical necessity, per a doctor or chiropractor referral. Once again Covid-19 is rearing it's ugly head and new stay at home orders are imminent although not yet official for Santa Cruz county. Current Status: TULA is open indoors with modifications and seeing current clients & select new clients (Santa Cruz county residents that are client referred). Expected Status in the coming week(s): TULA will be required to close once the stay at home order takes affect in our county/region with limited exceptions based on the directive be...low.. During this time, per our state massage governing board "Since healthcare is a part of critical infrastructure, this means that massage may still operate indoors, with modifications pursuant to State Guidance, if it is provided pursuant to a referral from a physician or a chiropractor in a Region where the Regional Stay at Home Order applies." We will continue to update you via Social Media, our newsletter & our website as we learn more. As always, we appreciate your support and we wish you all a healthy, safe holiday.
