(Trying to keep it short) It is a sad time in this country. Racism is real!! This country and many others, were built on the backs of humans forced into slavery based solely on the color of their skin, and some people still have zero value towards the lives of the people with that skin color, fact. Looting and rioting is not protesting. Destroying local small businesses and ruining your community and local authority figures solves nothing in defending against racism, fact. F...or how difficult this situation may seem, there is a simple solution to these issues. PARENTING. Teach respect. Respect for human life, respect of all skin color, respect for authority, mental capacity, religion, sexual preference and but not limited to, economical position. I understand, in this moment, the anger is about racism towards black Americans. The pain is real. Teach love not hate. Teach respect of yourself and others. Teach how to express your feelings peacefully. Show how to hold yourself and others accountable. Our children are watching.
