Wash your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded. Grieve, mourn and wail. Change your laughter to mourning and your joy to gloom. Humble yourselves before the Lord, and he will lift you up.... Family united in love. I had the sweetest dad who booked me to capture the memories of his loving family. His daughter was moving to her next journey of grad school the day after our shoot. It was so beautiful to see the love this family poured into each other. Although she will be far away from home their hearts will always be deeply connected. Best wishes to her next chapter of lifemay you be blessed every step of the way. We all experience a version of worry and anxiety in our lives. But we also remember knowing very well that we are normal, that we are loved and that we are not alone. May you always know, little one, that you were wished for, longed for, prayed for and will be forever loved. This was such a soul-filling and meaningful newborn session - one of my favorite genres. Two and a half years ago I had the honor of photographing their third child. This time I get to meet Daisy, the sixth member of this beautiful sweet family. She is so precious, so pure, and she is so loved by all. It was full of joy and laughter to welcome their sweet new life in their sweet home and I may have clicked way more photos during the session, yet each was very special to me. Family Today’s little moments become tomorrow’s precious moments. ... A magical place near by where we lives. I hope I am not over-sharing about this session. :) It was such an honor to work with this beautiful couple once again and this time with their sweet baby girl in celebration of her upcoming 3rd birthday. We were so blessed with the super-bloom this year at the Lupine field. People who have lived here for a long time have not experience such a magical scene in years it totally made like a good place to visit and explore. We don’t know if it will happen again next year but so thankful for what we have captured. Join us in exploring the world at our doorsteps this week! The Cure For Anxiety [Matthew 6:31-34] Do not worry then, saying, ‘What will we eat?’ or ‘What will we drink?’ or ‘What will we wear for clothing?’ For the Gentiles eagerly seek all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you. So do not worry about tomorrow; for tomorrow will care for itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own. ... This verse is just what I needed to be reminded of. At times we think of circumstances we can’t foresee with certain doubt and worry. This beautiful verse comforts us knowing all we need is to fully trust our God and focus on Him with every ounce of our beingand to follow according to His perfect well. This is so much greater than simply relying on our own understanding with what little we know. Today my baby girl turns two. She brings so much joy and laughter to our lives everyday. The journey of having her however wasn’t easy. Everyday I look at her I can’t thank God enough to have her call me mom.
