The word radiation usually refers to electromagnetic radiation. Electromagnetic radiation is energy that spreads through space or through various types of matter in the form of waves. Radiation is emitted by many different sources that are man-made (e.g. antennas/base stations) or natural (e.g., the sun). Electromagnetic radiation is a combination of electric and magnetic fields electromagnetic fields created by charges and electric currents.... Electromagnetic radiation is described by physical attributes that include frequency, wavelength and indicating the intensity of radiation. Matter absorbs electromagnetic radiation in the form of tiny particles of energy called photons. In this manner, in our visual system, cells in the retina of the eye absorb photons of visible light and translate them into images. The magnitude of absorption of electromagnetic radiation by matter depends both on the attributes of the electromagnetic radiation and on those of the absorbing matter.

Thermal imaging, or thermographic scanning, is actually a look at the power system with a dedicated camera. This camera has a special sensor that is sensitive to infrared radiation. This infrared radiation is actually emitted from anything in nature which has a temperature above absolute zero. Through this special camera that includes an electronic system, the camera translates this radiation, which is invisible to the human eye, into a visible image for pe...ople. In fact, you get an image showing the temperature at each point and different colors that refer to the temperature. After receiving the picture, the data must be analyzed using appropriate software and an experienced, professional electrician that will understand what is happening. In addition, the use of additional instruments, such as an Amp meter, and the integration of all these factors will allow us to arrive at the correct conclusions and recommendations for the solution and to prevent the future fire. The attached images show a case from one of the last our tests (before providing a solution). The electric conductor and the breaker are at a very high temperature. Measuring the current through the breaker shows that the breaker is at the peak of the current capacity through it. The solution: the distribution of the electric load differently from the existing ones, as a result of the reduction of the current in this circuit and thus the decrease in temperature
