Troupe Vertigo along with the performers and crew that make up our company stand against racism. As white creators of circus-theater we commit to staging work that is inclusive, compassionate and diverse. While our live performances have been put on hold we are taking this time to focus on how we can improve in areas of casting, music selection and partnerships to be sure we check our own bias and are as inclusive as we can be. While we don’t have all the answers, our aim is to continue to bring communities together through the celebration of what the human body is capable of. We still have much work to do and welcome the challenge to be apart of a solution to a more just and equitable world both on the stage and in the world.
