Great story on Sam Schmidt dancing with his daughter for her wedding. Exciting technology that was developed by Conquer Paralysis Now to help quadriplegics walk using an exoskeleton. It’s the first of its kind. https://www.indystar.com//indycar-sam-schmidt/7511700002/

Meet Chris - He's 28 years old and sustained a T5 spinal cord injury in a motorcycle accident just a few months ago. Because of YOU and your generous support we are able to help people who were recently injured and discharged from the hospital without an appropriate lightweight wheelchair, thru our loaner wheelchair program. SupportTriumph.org... #gettingbettereveryday
We recently met Laurie at Casa Colina Hospital and Centers for Healthcare. As healthcare changes, insurance companies are covering less and less, and Triumph is left to fill those gaps. So often people are discharged from the hospital without necessary items, including adequate wheelchairs. That means people get sent home in a heavy "dinosaur" wheelchair that limits their potential, access and mobility.... Your support enables Triumph to refurbish and repurpose used ultra-light chairs giving them to children, adults and Veterans in need providing freedom & independence. www.SupportTriumph.org to make a difference.

In regonization of National Disability Employment Awareness Month we wanted to highlight Ken who we were able to assist with our Employment Achievement Award. "In the early days of my injury I focused on returning to work, which I was able to accomplish in mid-December of 2016. My return to work came with many challenges. I had to rely on family, coworker, and Uber to get me to and from work each day. After 28 year in the insurance business I was unable to move freely throughout my territories and meet with colleagues, coworker, and clients." To read more of his story visit our blog below.

"THEY REALLY CHANGED THINGS AND GAVE ME A CHANCE TO SUCCEED. I COULDN'T HAVE DONE IT WITHOUT TRIUMPH." We like to think of all of our grant recipients as superheroes in their own right. In the case of Tyler Schrenk, it's really true. After Tyler's C-4 spinal cord injury left him paralyzed from the neck down, assistive technology gave him control of his care, surroundings, and future. Tyler became so passionate about assistive technologies, he felt a calling to help others und...erstand their options and use technology to improve their lives. Watch his story below!
