Dear Friends of Trinity Gardens, We need your support. 2020 has been a year of intensity... and it has also been a year of perseverance and growth. At Trinity Gardens, we adapted our education outreach and we are proud of what we achieved. In the spring, we grew thousands of veggie, fruit, and herb starts for the community and local schools to use for home gardening and remote-learning projects. In the fall, despite not being able to hold our popular annual harvest field... trips program in-person, we got creative and developed educational videos and take-home garden kits so teachers and their students could still learn about the life cycle of a pumpkin, the food rainbow, and how wheat turns into flour. The response to our outreach was overwhelming: we donated almost 800 kits to local students at no cost to the families or schools. During this time, our garden provided a refuge for our plot holders and community members to be outdoors safely, whether tending to their own plot or helping to harvest from our communal growing garden. Due to the pandemic, Trinity Gardens was not able to hold our yearly Evening in the Garden fundraiser or collect funds from schools for field trips. We hope that YOU can make a donation to help us carry on our important work in the community. Any donation is hugely appreciated AND if you make a donation by November 8th you will be entered in a raffle to win a free produce box from Trinity Gardens. To donate please visit our website: www.trinitygardenssb.org to our "Get Involved" page. With Gratitude, The Trinity Gardens Committee
