Insurance isn't only there to cover the things we can anticipate, it is also there to cover the things we never see coming. A client of mine in Malibu had this happen to them; a deer was spooked by a helicopter flying low over PCH. The deer ran down the driveway and it crashed through a pane of glass by the front door. The deer then proceeded to look for any way possible out of the house, crashing out through a French door and again back through the same door before finally jumping from the deck to the lower back yard. The damages in the house were well in excess of $10,000. The image is of animal control officers who came to get the injured deer. Make sure you're covered for the things you never see coming.
