Now is the time to double check your prescriptions and make sure you pick up any remaining medications before the holidays. This will ensure you have enough medication to last through the holidays and the beginning of 2021, when pharmacies are often busy. If you will run out of your medication’s refills, please contact us on the Patient Portal, and request a 90-day prescription. Tri-Valley's offices will be closed from 2 pm on Christmas Eve until 8 am the following Monday, and we will be closed from 2 pm on New Year’s Eve, re-opening on Monday, January 4th.
As anticipated, the stay-at-home order has been triggered and will remain in effect for at least 3 weeks. After that period, it will be lifted when a region’s projected ICU capacity meets or exceeds 15%. This will be assessed on a weekly basis after the initial 3 week period. Please stay safe!

Traditional Halloween activities are fun, but some can increase the risk of getting or spreading COVID-19 or influenza. The CDC recommends the following: Make trick-or-treating safer: Avoid direct contact with trick-or-treaters. Give out treats outdoors, if possible.... Set up a station with individually bagged treats for kids to take. Wash hands before handling treats. Wear a mask. A costume mask is not a substitute for a cloth mask. For a list of alternate ways on how to stay safe this spooky season, visit the CDC website here: https://bit.ly/2InITbm
About 1 in 8 women born today in the United States will get breast cancer at some point. The good news is that most women survive breast cancer when it's found and treated early. Starting at age 40, all women should speak to their doctor about getting a mammogram regularly. Women of any age with a close family member who has had breast or ovarian cancer should talk to their doctor about their breast cancer risk and determine when to get their mammograms. Women ages 50 to 75 should have a mammogram every 2 years. Call your doctor’s office to book an appointment today!
