With all the trials and tribulations I’m going through, I need to be reminded of this everyday. This life has not been a smooth run!

Dear Friends : MERRY CHRISTMAS!!! HAPPY NEW YEAR!! I hope all is well with you and your family. We have been busy at Tree of Life. So many families are without food and in great need of basic items to live. It seems like the poverty in our community is growing and more children are suffering.. Christmas is a great time to help and make someone's Christmas special. Remember Jesus is the reason for the season. He loves the poor and the needy and hears the cries of their precio...us hearts. Most of us during Christmas, have abundance and are blessed with many gifts. We have banquet of food and often its too much to consume!! Unfortunately, there are many who are less fortunate and are in need of our help. If you can contribute in any way, it would be greatly appreciated. Our address is Tree of Life Ministries, P.O. The Lord loves the poor. The world despises the poor. Jesus is close tho the needy and the poor. The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and the downtrodden. He hears their cries and He answers them. In the book of James says: Listen my brethren, Has not God chosen the poor of this world to be rich in faith and heirs of the kingdom which He promised to those who love Him. But you have dishonored the poor man. Do not the rich oppress you and drag you into the courts............ The world is not our friend. We are in the world, but we are not of this world. Remember always that when you give to the least of the brethren you are giving to Jesus.

Dear Friends: Merry Christmas!!!!this year went by too fast!! Thanksgiving went so well. We were able to provide over 150 turkey baskets to needy families We have many families who are in need of Christmas baskets this year. It is so heart wrenching to see children who truly have nothing. Some are without food and gifts. They have never experienced the abundance of joy and love our children have been blessed to receive. This year we are in need of HAMS, or turkeys. We have ...been blessed with many canned goods. If you want to provide a gift, please label I boy or girl and age appropriate. It's His birthday and we are the ones who receive gifts and blessings from His birth. He gave us the gift of His life and the gift of His unfailing love and mercy. I love Christmas and the spirit that spreads everywhere of His generosity and pure love. Mother Teresa once said "It is Christmas every time you let God love others through you." Every year we provide many families with turkey baskets. If you can help, this is a list of items to donate: turkey, stuffing, potatoes , celery, onions, yams, butter/margarine, rolls, green beans, corn etc. Anything would be great to donate.
