Day4 we would like to proudly introduce two super horses that we did not breed but that are being brought through our young horse program and doing incredible ! Mischief Managed aka Luca Out of Ballinalugh Ice X Darnay by Manhattan ... Luca is owned by Ashley Barritt and Sharon Marshall. He was bred by Alex La Rue. He is coming 4 this year. Ashley has said since she first started working with Luca that she is blown away by his incredible mind and even demeanor. He is an exceptional mover and has been bold and brave to everything we have put him over. He is as athletic as he is smart and things have been coming so easily to him. He is still green over fences but he is looking to be an extremely promising top hunter. He has a huge lovely stride and will be walking down the lines with ease! Bernie Traurig has wonderful remarks on Luca at the clinic he just gave. We are so excited to see this young horse come along. Look out for big things from ashley and Luca in the future Ghost of a Godess aka Gia Out of Gorgeous Godess by Soprano Gia is owned by Olivia Manasse. She was bred by Albert Saez. Gia is also coming 4 this year. She came to us about 6 months ago extremely green broke and has excelled at everything we have asked of her. She is beautifully put together. She is a lovely mover and has a great jump already. She is incredibly smart and wants to please every ride. She has beautiful natural self carriage. She has also been brave and bold to everything we have put her over. She is extremely fun on lateral work , she gets that from her Sire Fun fact about Gia , her Dams Grandsire is Seattle slew We are so excited to see where Olivia and Gia go together. Olivia is an exceptional rider so this pair is destined for great things! Keep your eye out for this pair in the show ring this year We are so lucky to have both these wonderful young horses in the barn. We are especially lucky to have Ashley Barritt as a trainer in our barn. She is such an asset and keeps our train on the track if you will. It’s so hard to find someone who you mesh with training and riding wise as perfectly as Carrie And Ashley do. Grateful every day that Ashley has been in our barn the last decade .

Breeding season is upon us and as we start off this new decade we wanted to share more on a HUGE part of our program that we are so incredibly proud of. We take a huge amount of pride in our breeding and young horse program. We will share a new post based around that each day this week.
