Immigration work is very important to the TransLatin@ Coalition and we are honored to be included as a representative voice in the SOILA 21 (State of Immigrants in LA County) report produced with the USC Equity Research Institute. The report captures how immigrants are faring economically and details just how crucial of an impact they make to our society. SOILA 21 also takes a deeper look into many of the disparities that exist for immigrants in our community. Our CEO, Bamb...y Salcedo, was quoted with a powerful message - I was hopeful that this [federal] administration was going to, in some ways, create some changes that needed to happen for our people to be at a better place...I think that there’s some changes that are going to happen. Maybe not as many as we want, but I know that some changes are going to happen. I want to push for that. I do not want people to think that just because we have this new administration that things are going to change completely. Some things will change but we need to keep on pushing. #ImmigrantsAreEssential #Immigrants #OurVoicesMatter #TransImmigrants #LACounty #LosAngeles #TransPower #TransHealth #CommunityCare #InThisTogether #TransLatinaCoalition #ImmigrantsAreLA #AJustRecoveryforAll
