Holy Rail is right! Finally there is a restaurant in NoCo San Diego that I am impressed with. Last night I got to attend the grand opening of Black Rail Kitch...en + Bar and it did not disappoint. My patients, Jennifer and Grant Gottesman, did an amazing job gut renovating this 6000 square foot space into a gorgeous restaurant. The Mediterranean Californian menu has Chef Travis Swikard’s touches on it that are familiar. I am still thinking about the 32 oz bone-in ribeye with smoked butter that was grilled to perfection!
