Founded by World Champion Skateboarder and Pastor Dennis Martinez, the transformation of lives is the real story of the Training Center. Our programs offered include rehabilitation, housing, community building, youth diversion, prison reform, & more!

Homelessness is one of the biggest obstacles ex-offenders face after being released. Even if they have a home to return to, it's often times very challenging to remain stably housed. We help fight this by providing sober living homes and stable housing for men who are reentering society.

Over 10,000 ex-offenders are released from prison and return to our communities every week. Our sober living homes and programs emphasize growing in Christ while finding productive ways to be a part of society. The graduates from our programs go on to live sober and fruitful lives in the community.

We are so blessed to have been given the opportunity to buy 12 new sober living homes in Southeastern San Diego, but we need your help. Our goal is to raise $1.5 million by the end of June. This will allow us to buy and sustain these homes and house over 72 men, helping them find Christ and providing them with the resources they need to graduate from the Training Center and continue on to live productive lives in the community they are returning to. Here at the Training Center in San Diego, we offer sober living environments for those moving through the process of restoration to a new normal life. Our mission is to restore individuals, reunify families, and strengthen our communities, Through a proven holistic approach offering housing, job readiness and life skills resulting in transformation and empowerment.

Why do so many inmates return to prison? Lack of employment, lack of housing, mental health, and returning to old social circles and habits are just a few reasons so many men end up going back to prison after being released. We help men recovering after prison by providing them with housing, classes and the skills they need to live a sober life and return to society.

November 11, 2020, marks the 400th anniversary of the Mayflower's arrival to America. Before disembarking on November 11, 1620, the settlers signed the Mayflower Compact, which laid the foundation of our American democracy, our liberty, and our law and order. The Mayflower Compact stated their purpose as "For the glory of God and the advancements of the Christian faith." On this historical anniversary, Christians of every race, denomination, and political party will stand TOG...ETHER as ONE NATION UNDER GOD committed to fulfill our God-given purpose and to declare JESUS IS LORD in our land! Happy 4th of July to all!

I know all holidays can be times of celebration, reflection, and sometimes pain. My hope for all of you is to have more time to celebrate and remember that fathers as well as father figures are those who embody the role. One definition of a father is a protector, teacher, and encourager. Find that person in your life to celebrate today. A man who is a father provides, protects, and encourages!
