I hope you are able to learn from us (@chrisvk4219) that: Moving and taking care of your body are important. No one is going to do the work for you. If you want something you have to go get it. It isn’t always going to come easy and if it does be grateful; that’s a blessing. (& then set a new goal and go for that!) ... Don’t make excuses and follow through. You must create the time and space to take care of yourself (no, it isn’t selfish) before expecting to be able to take care of others with full presence and energy. It doesn’t matter what form of exercise you chose, find something(s) that light(s) you up and do it/them consistently and with purpose. Always support and include others no matter what. If you’re in a group setting workout or on a team, never leave or get water before the last person finishes and you’ve given them a high five. Don’t thrive on beating others, focus on being the best you. Love yourself, your body, and always be grateful for what you/it CAN do. This isn’t about a quick detox or getting bikini ready in 2 weeks. This is about training for YOUR life. Long term commitment to your goals. It’s not about taking up 2 hours of your day. It’s asking for 20-30 minutes. It’s not about stress and strain. It’s about commitment and follow through. KEEP IT SIMPLE!... Our next challenge is 21 days in length. 7 days a week. 20-35 minute workouts. {Note: This is YOUR workout program. You do YOU. If 3 days a week is what you can commit to starting with, then it’s 3 days.} Equipment: dumbbells and a resistance band w/ handles. : August 5th- August 25th : You pick it! You do your workout whenever it works for YOU. : You chose. Garage, bedroom, family room, outside, basement, hotel room if you’re traveling. WHEREVER works!
