Pumpkin Surprise: This recipe has been passed down through the years with the Powell Family. The first time I tried it I knew that this recipe had to live on with our family. It is BY FAR the best dessert I have ever tasted during the Holiday Season. If you are one that loves Pumpkin Pie with a hint of cake texture, this is a to die for recipe! Ingredients:... 1 Large can of Pumpkin 1 can of Evaporated Milk 4 Eggs 4 tsp. Pumpkin Pie Spice 1/2 tsp. Salt 1 cup Sugar 1 cube of Butter 1 box Yellow Cake Mix Directions: 1. Mix all the above ingredients. Pour into a greased cake pan (9"x13") 2. Sprinkle Yellow Cake Mix evenly over the top of the above mixture 3. Melt cubed Butter and pour all over the top of the Yellow Cake Mix 4. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour As always, if you make this recipe, I would LOVE to hear your feedback. Enjoy!
