TPA congratulates the City of Turlock for being awarded a grant in the amount of $500,000 from the Community Oriented Policing Services (COPS) Hiring Program administered by the U.S. Department of Justice. This grant will enable the City to fill four Neighborhood Resource Officer positions that have been vacant since 2019, and support its primary objectives of enhancing the safety of children in schools AND building engagement with surrounding neighborhoods.
