Well its that time of year again! It's getting a lil cooler, leaves are turning colors & falling off the trees & then there's The Moon!

Summer is here for sure & that means the cost of energy used for air conditioning will go up as we try to keep cool!! I have an idea about helping to keep the cost down. Why not a Whole House Fan!?! I don't have a Whole house fan, but I do have a few window fans that I use to cool the house when the outside temps cool down some at night. They say a whole house fan will draw air from open windows and vent it through the attic and the roof. According to the U.S. Department of... Energy (DOE), whole house fans provide attic ventilation in addition to cooling the living space. The DOE says, "Whole house fans provide 30 to 60 air changes per hour. The rate varies depending on climate, floor plan, etc., so check with a professional to determine what is appropriate for your home." Try & stay Cool this SUMMER! God's Blessings to you all! OK, we past spring & went right into Hot, in the 90s this week. All the plants are drooping, can't decide weather to water or let em droop. We are in a bad drought here & we need to be mindful of that! We can do things to help hold the water in the ground but 2st we need to have most our plants on a drip system. Put down a really thick layer of Mulch, That really does help!!! Have great time gardening!!!

Happy Spring, or should I say Summer!!! Sure feels more like summer doesn't it!?! Now that it is Spring/Summer we all should be doing some things around the house to prepare for it. So to avoid premature Heating & AC system breakdowns and extend the life of the system, we like to remind our clients to; Regularly remove dust from around grills and ducts Replace filters as directed by the manufacturer, do this 2 times a year, Spring & Fall. Clear plants and debris around the co...ndenser to ensure proper airflow. It sure does help extend the life of your system. Have a Great Spring! See more
