Happy New Year everyone. Have a blessed, safe, and healthy New Year’s countdown and New Year’s weekend. Our office will be closed January 1st (Friday) and 2nd (Saturday) and will reopen Monday, 1/4/21, at 9:00 AM.

Our Torrance Vision Center family would like to wish everyone a very merry Christmas. Our office will be closed on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. We will reopen on our usual time at 9:00 AM on Saturday, 12/26. Have a fabulous and safe Christmas everyone.

We would Iike to wish everyone a happy and safe Thanksgiving, 2020 Edition. In order to spend some time with our families and finally getting some much needed time off, we will be closed this Thanksgiving weekend (from Thursday 11/26 through Sunday 11/29). Our office will reopen on Monday 11/30/20 at 9:00 AM.

We’d like to congratulate the Los Angeles Dodgers on yet another World Series appearance (3 in 4 years). Good luck with tonight’s Game 3 and hopefully we can wrap it up this weekend.

Just a reminder for everyone to do their part in letting their voices be heard. Please get out there and vote; or get your mail-in ballots out before Nov. 3rd.

In honor of tonight (most likely) or this weekend’s (if necessary) close out game for the 2020 NBA Finals, we have made today Laker Day at the Office.

Meet Corinne. She was actually a patient of Dr. Au's before joining our eyecare team and service. Her warm, sweet personality has made her a delightful addition to our practice. Corinne will be at our front lobby area to welcome you. She will also be performing some of the preliminary testing on you and assist you in selecting the perfect glasses frame to fit your face. Corinne is an aspired student with a goal in nursing.

In observance of Labor Day, we will be closed on Monday, September 7th and will reopen the following day at 10:00 AM.

Happy 4th of July! In observance of this national holiday, our office will be closed on Saturday and will reopen on Monday, 7/6/20 at 10:00 AM. Have a safe one everyone.

Happy Father’s Day to all the awesome dads out there.

A special shout out to the folks at VSP for providing our office with a nice supply of PPE face shields in helping us maintain the best standard of eyecare and protection. On the plus side, we all get to experience how it’s like to be a Storm Trooper or Mandalorian.

We are happy to announce that we have adjusted our hours of operation as life is beginning to move slowly and gradually towards normalcy. Although we are opening up more slots for appointments and welcoming walk-ins, we do advise that you call ahead and make an appointment to ensure a spot. Open slots for same day services are rare since we still need ample time in between patients for cleanup and sterilization. Thank you for your understanding.

In observance of Memorial Day, our office will be closed Monday 5/25/20 and will resume at 10:00 AM on Tuesday 5/26/20. Have a wonderful, safe, and fun time.

A special shout-out and thanks to the folks at Zeiss Meditec for once again providing us with some more protective gears for our day to day. Thank you for making sure that we are protected at all times during this pandemic and thank you for letting me know what it feels like to be a member of the Galactic Empire in Star Wars.

Special shoutout to the folks at Zeiss Meditec in coming through with some aide to us eyecare professionals. This generous gift of a couple of extra large slit lamp face shields was well received and much needed for our practice. You guys know that we can get pretty close and near face to face with our patients during these comprehensive eye exams. Thank you and god bless. We’re all in this together.
