I was just reviewing some stats for Real Estate sales in Santa Clara County for 2020. Even with Covid, our market increased in both number of sales and median sale price each quarter. I knew this was happening as each month it got more and more difficult to find properties that most buyers could afford, but seeing the actual numbers was still a bit shocking. Median sale prices going from $1,350,000 in Q1 up to $1,400,000 in Q’s 3 & 4?? At least the interest rates are still amazingly low.

It seems that almost every December I get the opportunity to help a family get into their very own home for Christmas. This year was extra special. My client bought a house for an employee who lost their home due to a fire earlier this year. It was a surprise for all of us. We found the house a week ago, and closed escrow today. Multiple offers, first day on the market, and the stars aligned and we got it done. What a surprise for her employee this evening when we handed him the keys.
