Curious to find out where all the hot markets are around you? Below are top 10 areas with the hottest sales over the last 4 months. This is data that I've personally collected and calculated from the MLS for attached and detached homes. Enjoy! 1. Coming in first is El Cajon (my own backyard!) with an average days on the market (DOM) of 6 days! 2. Escondido came in second with an average DOM of 13 days. 3. San Diego area with zip codes of 92101 and 92102 came in third with an... average DOM of 14 days. 4. Chula Vista with an average DOM of 15 days. 5. Carlsbad was fourth with an average of 16 days on the market. 6. Clairemont Mesa with an average of 20 days on the market. 7. Oceanside had an average DOM of 24 days, but it would've been lower if it had not been for a couple of outliers. 8. Murrieta had an average DOM of 27 days. 9. La Mesa's average DOM was 32 days. 10. Temecula finishes our list with an average DOM of 39 days. A lot of these DOM had extremes within them, so while the average is a general indicator, the actual DOM varies depending on multiple factors.
