Feast of the Assumption Celebration, Tomales Sunday, August 18, 9:30 am 3:30 pm Church of the Assumption of Mary, 26825 Shoreline Highway, Tomales 707-878-2208 Come take part in a fun-filled day celebrating the feast of the patroness of the Church of the Assumption of... Mary. The festivities begin at 9:30; at 12:00 noon there will be a Procession accompanied by horsemen; at 12:15 the consecration of children to the Virgin Mary; and celebration of Solemn Mass at 12:30. Food, drink, and Aztec Dancers will follow Mass. It’s sure to be an enjoyable festival, and all are welcome to attend. Admission is free. Food and beverage tickets can be purchased at the event.
