Worthy One of the biggest maladies that plague our society today are feelings of inadequacy. Millions walk around this planet not feeling like they amount to mu...ch. It is more prevalent in countries like India where the caste system is still in place. Children grow up under harsh environments and their feelings of worthlessness drive them into therapy some for the rest of their lives. It need not be this way. This is not what God had intended for us. that you would walk worthy of God who calls you into His own kingdom and glory. 1 Thessalonians 2 God has called us forth to learn from Him (the Bible) and walk in His footsteps. He has provided an example to follow in His Son Jesus. We are not worthy to untie his sandals but are His children. Children who are destined to inherit the Kingdom. What a wonderful calling and future to look forward to. We find our worth not in our own accomplishments but in Him who suffered and died on the cross so that we no matter our station in this life could one day join Him. Join Him as fellow princes of a Kingdom that will rule the entire universe. But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Romans 5 We are loved by God. That alone should make us feel worthy. Yet many have failed to grasp this concept. While there are a few requirements to gaining this distinction, the Bible tells us God died for all. that you may walk worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing Him, being fruitful in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God Colossians 1 For the love of Christ compels us, because we judge thus: that if One died for all, then all died; 2 Corinthians 5 We as His children have a calling to achieve. We as His followers are on one mission. To grow in His knowledge, being fruitful in the fruits of the Spirit and to walk as He did while here 2,000 years ago. We are fellow prisoners for the Lord. I, therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you to walk worthy of the calling with which you were called Ephesians 4 We are worthy for the God of the Old Testament came down to this world He created, lived among us and gave His life so that we might be saved. What a wonderful lesson for us to embrace as we have the opportunity to join in His ministry to the entire world. We are worthy to carry forth this message and be counted as sons and daughters of God. For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God. Romans 8 Invite the Holy Spirit into your life and allow Him to lead out in your life and become a witness not only to the teachings of His Son but to the amazing things He has done and will do for your life. For you are Worthy. And that is the Whole Truth! May God truly bless you in your walk with Him. And remember, God always answers His kneemail.

In the eyes of our Lord, we are valued. So much so that He was willing to die for us that we might be saved. NEVER question your worth when the King of Eternity has already set the price..

Preparing for Communion This Sabbath. Here is something to think about when we do the ordinance of humility. (Foot washing) 'In 1969, when African-American citizens in the United States were not permitted to swim in community pools along side white people, Fred Rogers brought a African-American police officer to his television show and invited him to cool his feet with him in a small, plastic wading pool. Mr. Rogers then helped Officer Clemmons to dry his feet.... Mr. Rogers never openly preached on his show, despite being an ordained Presbyterian minister. Good Afternoon Thousand Oaks Church Family Last Sabbath in Thousand Oaks we had a wonderful first experience coming together as we opened up to outdoor in-person worship We wanted to make sure that safety was our first concern and I believe we have accomplished that. So, we invite again you who are "Low Risk" (under 65, non-compromised immune system, healthy) to come and join us as we worship at the Thousand Oaks church under the Oak tree. We will follow the safety pro...tocols of maintaining 6’ distance and wearing of masks to maintain our safe environment.
