Titan Engineering

Dear 8th grade parents - as you may be aware, Temescal Canyon High School offers three specialized programs on campus that require applications and acceptance to in order for a student to participate. These include the International Baccalaureate Program, the Health and Medical Careers Academy and the Titan Engineering & Technology Academy. I am the engineering teacher and program director for the Titan Engineering & Technology Academy. Our academy is a 4-year program that ...combines engineering, science, math and computer science classes across the curriculum. While in the academy, students can earn college credit in engineering courses, professional certifications and licensures, and participate in a host of activities and events that help build skills, develop interest and aide our students in achieving their goals after high school. All done within our state of the art engineering lab that rivals ones you'd see at universities. Attached to this post you will find a short video about the program as well as the link to the application. There will be a Zoom "preview" night announced shortly as well. The application is due by January 29th and is open to all current 8th grade students. Students not within the TCHS boundary can apply for a district transfer in order to attend the school and participate in the program (this is true for all 3 programs).
