Introducing Conrad Leach to TYFA friends and collectors Conrad began his artistic career as a designer for major fashion brands in Europe. Following 20 years of immersion in creative fields and being selected as Artist in Residence for Louis Vuitton in Japan Conrad pursued his fine art practice full time beginning in 2002. The history of painters moving to Los Angeles for its quality of light, creative environment and artistic freedom has a long and storied history. Conrad relocated his studio from London to LA in 2014 which inspired a new body of work exploring his observations of life and the culture of Los Angeles.

Join us this evening for the "Artists Do L.A." exhibit at West LA College - Fine Arts Gallery. TYFA artist Jim McHugh is selected to participate in a further celebration of Los Angeles' dynamic history and its inspiration.

It is our pleasure to introduce an artist friend of the gallery, Biljana Misic. Her collage paintings seem to be an unobstructed channeling of the subconscious. We encourage you to escape for awhile, let yourself be enchanted and thrilled by the disparate elements, the generations of style, the architectural aesthetics, the array of flora, the abundance of creatures. "Yare: One More Dance" by Cristobal Valecillos will be recreated with an additional surprise element at the upcoming LA Art Show. You will have the opportunity to view these masks and experience a spectacular performance of the traditional Los Diablos de Yare ceremony on the Opening Night Premiere Party while they dance through the isles of the LA Art Show.
