As I keep working with this marketing system I am stuck by how effective it is and how it is used in so many of the successful campaigns - get clear about who your best customer is (your mpc), be clear about what it is you offer (your currency) and what it is that makes you unique - from this you craft your perfect offer - showing them what it is that you can do to fulfill a need that they have - this is all part of your foundation - and like anything the foundation supports the rest so make sure that it is clearly thought out!

I am working with a marketing program that I am excited about - the Aaron Fletcher system. It is very thorough and provides a way to set up an automated marketing leads generating system that produces quality leads through the creation of what is called the Signature Solution - 9 steps that you follow to build a marketing mastery roadmap that will help take your business to the next level - reflecting back on my past contracting experience I can see that the system would have been extremely effective in my past business and I am going to offer it as a roadmap package for contractors to use that want to generate more business for themselves!

Another piece from 'the Execution Factor' is in order to help yourself get clear about knowing what you feel passionate about if it's not already clear is to ask yourself what do you love so much that you'd be willing to make significant sacrifices for it? Then asking your self what you are doing on a regular basis to feed the passion - if necessary start really small and build from there - like a really small habit build out!

Another thing Maxwell says in his book is that it is much better to have a growth mind-set rather than a goal mind-set - the goal mind-set emphasizes hitting a target and asking how long it will take to get there whereas a growth mind-set asks "how far can I take this?" I like that distinction - James Clear in his book 'Atomic Habits' says you fall to the level of your processes that you have in place and that it is better to focus on processes rather than goals!

Reading a piece by John Maxwell in his book 'Leadership' -lead people based on connecting with them rather than directing them! He says every time you meet with someone take out a notepad and write a big L, standing for 'listen'. As Covey says 'seek first to understand, then be understood!'
